Triple Threat In Life
I like this article about being a double or triple threat in your career.
Most people focus their time on becoming a lethal killer at one thing.
Take writing, for example.
You could be an incredible writer, but the problem is that there are 1000s of other incredible writers to compete against. You don’t stand out.
But now, pretend that in addition to being an incredible writer, you are also a phenomenal videographer. Now, you stand out. You make yourself more valuable to a potential client or employer. You go from being a single threat to a double threat.
And you could go one step further by adding another skill—like audience building—to become a triple threat.
Being a double or triple threat isn’t required to be successful. But I’m willing to bet that building a successful career is easier when you have more than one thing you do really well.
