My Next Musical Mini-Project
Okay, my fellow data dork, here’s the truth about my learnings yesterday…
I didn’t do much.
I took a last-minute trip to New York City and had no time.
Oh, it’s terrible, right? I’m supposed to have no days off. But guess what…
It’s okay.
Even though I didn’t learn anything revolutionary, I was still productive.
Since I recently finished my dorky email automation project, I’m looking for something new to do. And this time around, I wanna focus on building SQL tables to work on my data cleaning and transformation skills.
So here’s what I decided yesterday…
My next mini-project will focus on manipulating JSON files and turning them into SQL tables.
I have two options moving forward:
- Turn the entire JSON file I have for my Spotify playlist into a few tables
- Use Spotify’s API to get data for its top public playlists and transform that data into useable tables
Right now, I haven’t decided what I’ll do yet.
But what matters is that I know the path I want to take for my next mini-project.
If you’ve read any previous blog posts for this 66 Days of Math and Programming, you know I’m gonna share the mini-project soon.
So keep your eyes out for it.
Peace!
